Problem: Patients undergoing medical and/or surgical procedures do not fully comprehend the verbal nor written informed consent that they receive. In an effort to deliver patient education, Amerra developed this patient procedure animation to illustrate the typical methodology to tackle this healthcare problem
affecting 7% of the population.
Solution: Enabling patients the ability to quickly understand their procedure saves multiple stakeholders time and money.
Web-based informed consent gives the patient a full comprehension of their medical and/or surgical care. Concise animations is superior to traditional verbal or written methods, and gives patients a composite understanding of the process.
