Solution: Amerra developed a patient education animation of a lower lip resection featured on the Dr. Oz show. The medical animation was produced in collaboration with Dr. Ron Karni and his team at Memorial Hermann and the University of Texas Medical School in Houston.
ROI: An estimated 3 million American households watch The Dr. Oz Show, which hosted Houston's largest non-disaster relief free health clinic in Reliant Center on September 26, 2009. Over 700 volunteers, 200 doctors and 300 nurses provided medical care to over 1,780 Americans at the event. With current strategy in place to utilize the animation for patient awareness and medical training via multiple media hubs and educational outlets, the measurable results are still being developed.
Amerra was able to quickly create an animation due to time contraints which precisely captured the key components of this surgery. I was impressed with their professionalism, stylistic talent, and attention to detail.
