This medical animation describes the application of nanotechnology from Medlab’s innovative NanoCelle® medicine delivery platform. It is designed to overcome the limitations posed by current conventional delivery systems – regardless of the active pharmaceutical ingredient (API). The technology creates water-soluble nanoparticles that can be designed to release the payload in response to specific environmental triggers. The platform allows passive diffusion of APIs directly into the bloodstream via oral-buccal, sublingual, intranasal and transdermal or topical delivery unlike using needle injection or pills.
MedLab’s research into nanoparticles has spanned more than two decades and offers the exciting opportunity for the creation of not only the next generation of new or improved drug delivery systems but also diagnostics, anti-microbial techniques, forms of cell repair and more. NanoCelle® offers a market-ready and commercially viable delivery solution with patent protection in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, UK and Europe until 2036.
